[ 研究概要 ]
To promote foods inspection and realize tailor-made treatment of disease, facile but highly sensitive gene analysis is required. In the present study, we have developed a novel gene analysis system called FRIP (fluorogenic ribonuclease protection assay) method toward SNP analysis.
The novel system is based on FRET (fluorescence resonance energy transfer) and ribonuclease specificity. We can detect the difference in the fluorescence intensity between fullmatched and mismatched samples. We have demonstrated the possibility by applying the novel FRIP technique to inspection of rice, tuna, crab species and also identification of several diseases.
